That is why nail service is one of the most sought-after areas in the beauty industry, and the profession of a nail master occupies a leading position among others in this area. Agree, no matter what happens, and no matter what crises the world experiences, a woman always wants to remain beautiful. Like any other, the profession of a nail master begins with basic knowledge, having mastered which you can start working with clients. The course requires consolidation and development of acquired skills, as well as advanced training after the completed stages. The basic express course "Nail Start" is designed both for beginners in the beauty industry who want to learn a new profession of a nail master, and for masters with experience. The course includes theoretical and practical parts. For the course, you must have a thin brush, a brush for working with gel (can be purchased at a discount on the day of the course at the Academy with a 25% discount). The student should independently find a model for the course. At the same time, the Academy contributes to the search for a model, but does not guarantee her availability.

Curriculum of course

You Will Learn:

First day
Theoretical part: 10:00 – 12:30

  • Introduction to the profession of a nail master. Required tools, equipment and materials.
  • Anatomy (structure) of the nail plate.
  • Choice of a milling cutter and drill bits: technical characteristics, rules, speed of work, types of drill bits.
  • Disinfection and sterilization of the instrument.

Coffee break: 12:30-13:00

Practical part: 13:00 – 16:00

  • Proper removal of artificial coating: demonstration by the teacher of the removal technique on tips.
  • Practicing by students of removing artificial coating on tips.
  • Technique of work with drill bits.
  • Practicing the technique of work with drill bits.
  • Practicing the gel polish coating with leveling with the base on tips.

Second day. Combined manicure with gel polish coating.
Theoretical part: 9:30 – 10:30

  • Shapes of nails. Types of nail plates.
  • Nail architecture.
  • Strengthening and alignment of the nail plate - what's the difference?
  • Demonstration of the performance of a combined manicure with gel polish coating by a teacher on a model.

Coffee break: 10:30 – 11:00

Practical part: 11:00 – 16:00

  • Performing a combined manicure with gel polish by a student on a model (one hand)
  • Photo of the work done by the student.
  • Cleaning of the workplace, disinfection and sterilization of working tools.
  • Third day. Strengthening nails with hard materials: gel system. Work in the technique "Without nail filing".

  • Demonstration by the teacher on the model.

  • Cleaning of the workplace. Instrument disinfection and sterilization.

Fourth day. Nail repair. Strengthening nails with gel. French coating.
Practical part: 09:30 – 17:00

  • Strengthening and repair of nails.
  • Scheme of artificial nails filing.
  • French design.
  • Demonstration on the model. Practicing by students on a model (one hand).
  • Photo of nails.
  • Cleaning of the workplace. Instrument disinfection and sterilization.

Fifth day. Express nail extension. Working with gel tips.
Practical part: 09:30 – 17:00

  • Gel tips: types, selection, features of work.
  • Demonstration of express nail extension with gel tips by a teacher on a model.
  • Practicing by students on the model. Nail design + inlay (practicing on one hand).
  • Photo of nails.
  • Cleaning of the workplace. Instrument disinfection and sterilization.

Presentation of international diplomas. Presentation of gifts from Kodi Professional.
